I'm thinking of thru-soaking a section of the Hot Springs Trail

I'm thinking of hiking a section of Aria Zoner's Hot Springs Trail this spring. The Coastal Connect segment starts on Stearn's Wharf and joins the PCT near Lancaster using a portion of the Condor Trail. Then it follows the PCT until the PCT veers into the desert and instead follows dirt roads and trails over to Lake Isabella and up the Kern River into the Sierras. I'm trying to see if it's possible to follow a small portion of the High Sierra section of the Hot Springs trail into the Golden Trout Wilderness and cut over somewhere to join the PCT near Kennedy Meadows. If I can't go further, then I'll just stop in Kernville. That's the plan anyway.

Talking about plans is dumb. It's better to talk about what you have done. But I thought I would put it out there in case anyone has info they want to send me. This all depends on what kind of storms and stuff we have this year. If this year is no good, then I'll at least try to do a little more of the CDT.
